My code won't compile in "build" - only if I do a "Rebuild" each time.

Hi,

Attached is the error I get when i try to build a project, and the project files.

A ReBuild works fine - justs wastes much time.

I hope someone can help me.

I can't figure out how to attache the .csproject and .project files...

Hi Mechi,

are you using an older version of CCS? I believe you are experiencing an issue that has been fixed in v5.3.

Please see this post as an example and keep us informed. If you go to v5.3 as recommended please do a fresh full installation into a new directory.

Hi, Mechi.

Have you tried to switch to another workspace and import your project from old one? That could fix your issue, I hope.

Hi Nickolas and Lisa,

Thanks for all the advice.

I decided to reread the message and went to \.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.cdt.make.core\ where there was a file specs.c and specs.cpp. I guess both were compiled by different compilers and that's what the error message was.

So - I deleted specs.cpp and the project can be built.

How the 2 copies got there - who knows?
