How to read out values of registers?

Hi,

I want to read out some values of registers. Such as registers at the addresses of 4031D040h, 4031D044h, 4031D048h.

 I connect JTAG to the board, and read out them from Memory Browser. Is that the right way to read out the registers? If wrong, how to read out these values?
