debugging a project

Hi anyone!

I'm making a example project I found in teaching rom files, but when I go to debug the project, I connect th launchpad to the pc, and I click on green button () and then the following message appears "the program stopped working" and I have to close it. No more information about the problem.

anyone know what can I do?

Hi Carmen,

what target/launchpad are you using? Which exact example and steps have you been taking so far? We would need further information to debug.

Hello!

Yes, I realized after write you, the problem maybe was the launchpad, the example is "blinking_led" but it propose make it with msp430G2331, and I've got the MSP-EXP430F5529 Experimenter board.

So, I try to change the project, baut when I have to debug the project, the message appears the same way: ""the program stopped working" :S

The version is css_v5, I think the lastone.

Hi Carmen,

please try simply creating a new project or loading an example for your proper board. Keep us informed whether you get any errors doing that.

yes, I'm trying it, but I'm beginner and I have no idea how to create a new project.

can you suggest me where I could found any project and load it?

I'm finding but without success.
