CCS v5.3, download and installation

hi,

I have tried several times to download CCS v5.3 off-line installation from TI link.

the link is given below

CCSv5.3.0 Off line instalation zip file size is about 1.3GB but the downloaded file size is not matching this size and even not getting unzip. The time duration of this download was 4-5 hrs.

same problem with other older versions of CCS (5.2 and 5.1)

For web installer link- An application file is getting downloaded but after running file - choosing devices - the installer is giving massage to check settings.

Which are these settings?

I have already tried GOOGLE CROM, MOZILA FIREFOX brousers.
Even I have tried with different operating system "Ubantu (LINUX)"

I have sent several e-mails to tiasia@ti.com, they replied very late for two e-mails, afterwords they r just ignoring my e-mails.

After the online order the C2000 launchpad reached within 4 days on 24/01/2013.

I was happy n very eager to work on it but the CCS download and installation problem has delayed it.

TI support is not good.

Plz help me.

Hi Jayant,

it seems like you might be experiencing a connectivity issues. This could be proxy settings, or a permissions/antivirus blocking your access/corrupting your download attempts.

Is there the possibility to try/get the zip file via another pc and transfering it over to try the install that way?

Hi Jayant,

although this appears a connection and not an install issue, would you also please send us the installation logs to look at? These are in the installjammer registry directory. The folder may be hidden and is under program files or program files(x86). Also any error logs along the way.
