[CCS5] Free license issue

Dear Champs,

We received the issue from customer.

Originally,  customer used the 30 Day license for CCS4. Then, they use the CCS5 and choose the Free license.

However , CCS5 already show the "Licensed" label.

However , the CCS5 show the the warning signal when we launch the simulator.

The warning signal show that the license file is for CCS4, not for CCS5. Then the CCS become unlicensed.

Is it any log file or  register file that i need to clear  for solving this issue????

    Brian,

    It is possible to force CCS to look for a new license.  http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/FAQ_-_CCSv5#Q:_How_do_I_change_the_license_that_CCS_is_using.3F

    That should cause CCS to prompt for a license.  They could select the free license for xds100/devboard/sim there or they could use the attached license file.
