How to download program on target without debugging it?

Hi everyone,

i would like to ask how i can download the program on the target without debugging it. So just download the program in this case on the chronos kit without debugging it?

Haven't found something in the net. I use CCS 5.3.0.00090.

    Hi Christian,

    what you are looking for appears to be a flash programmer.

    These are available but not built into CCS.

    For the msp430 and cc430 based parts of the Chronos you can use the free flash programmer from Elprotronic (www.elprotronic.com)

    For the non msp430 dongle you could use SmartRF Studio

    Both can load hex files.  I hope this helps and please keep us informed.
