Do we need a license server?

Hi, my customer owns one CCS Floating License and wants to use it on 3 machines. How can he manage to setup the license in CCS 5.3? He would like to avoid running a license server. Please advise.

    Hi Ewald,

    unfortunately, a floating license type requires a server.    The setup instructions are here:

    A couple notes

    - perhaps node locked licenses would have been a better option?

    - the license file is tied to the MAC address of the server
