TMS320C6A816x - Hello World

Hi;

I am trying to run SYS/BIOS on TMS320C6A816x device which has ARM Cortex -A8. When I load the example SYS/BIOS project I got the following error.

Can't find a source file at "d:\profiles\tmutlu\locals~1\temp\ti_mkl~1\src/exit.c"
Locate the file or edit the source lookup path to include its location.

I set the emulation pins according to user guide.

I use CCS5.3, SYS/BIOS 6.35.00.20 , TI816x(no STM, ETB only) configuration, and appropriate gel file.

Compiler version : TI v 4.9.7

Output Format : eabi (ELF)

I am new at CCSv5 and SYS/BIOS. I read most introduction document but i may still make an obvious mistake. Any idea ?

I am wondering if your include paths and variables need some updating/correction/addition.

I just try the example project. For now, i didnt add, include any source file, library,etc to the project.. According to the page you show, it is about including some kind of files to the project. So i dont think it is relevant .

Hi Tugrul,

ccs still needs to know where these files are located as indicated in the wiki. Have you tried addding the path in the compiler include options?
