To get OUTPUT IN STANDARD OR CONSOLE WINDOW.......

Hello , 

                 I have written a simple program to display hello world . But  i am not able to get the output in the  console window . What i have to do to get the output ? is there anything to do with the simulator (target configurations )? please help with the above .

    Chandan,

    What simulator are you using?  What version of CCS?  Did you use a project template for helloworld?

    If I had to guess I would say that the linker command file that places CIO in appropriate memory is missing.
