TMDSEVM6678L is very slow over USB

Using the onboard XDS100v1 emulation, yes that's slow.  It's also why the TMSDSEVM6678LE w/ the XDX560V2 emulation daughter card is offered.  The 560V2 emulation will have a lot more performance and capabilities than the base level 100V1 emulation.  You can purchase an external emulator if performance and extended functionality such as Trace is needed.

Can you describe how many times are USB communications with XDX560V2 faster (CIO and uploading application code)?

Currently reading 51200 bytes takes 25 seconds (i.e. fread(buf, 1, 51200, inputFile))

Also I noticed that when EVM is connected with Windows USB communications work about 2 times faster than when connected to Linux. Is it normal too?

I noticed you where doing fprint's so this could be OS dependent with regards to file accesses.

I don't have exact numbers other than to say that i know the XDS560v2 is much much faster, many many magnitudes of order faster than the XDS100v1. The XDS100v1 is as slow as you get while the XDS560v2 is at the opposite end with it being one of the best performing emulators we offer.
