How can I recover from a wrong floating license server configuration?

I input a wrong port number then I screwed up, I cannot find any *.lic from installation folder. The "license options" menu just give me error:

Hi Yuechuan,

do you see this when you go to Help->Licensing options? Can you readd the server there? You can also try manually editing the port in the licenselocation.txt file.

Note the port is likely 27000 instead of 8080.

OK, got it, thanks.

Is that CCSv5 license able to apply to CCSv4? I am not sure about it but my resources is CCSv4, the license just purchased recently.

great, glad to hear that helped! A v5 license will work with both v5 and v4 so you have no need to worry.
