CCS v4/v5 Code Coverage for Cortex M3

The Cortex-M3 cycle accurate simulator does have support for code coverage. Please see this wiki page for a list of simulators and what features they support:

I also noticed that Cortex M3 cycle accurate simulator suppose to support code coverage.  However, it does not work following the steps on the code coverage page (http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Code_Coverage). I further checked the FAQ and found that only C6x simulators are supported (http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/FAQ_-_CCSv5#Q:_What_targets_support_CCS_code_coverage.3F).

Hi Wilson,

            I tried code coverage feature in M3 cycle accurate simulator in CCS Version: 5.3.0.00090 and it works fine.

Let me know if you are using CCS which is older than this since there was an open issue for code coverage which was fixed.
