Hi,

I'm using the XDS220 with Uniflashv2 GUI to program a TMS320F28335 device. To validated what i have programed, i would like to be able to dump the whole eeprom into a file. However i've noticed that there is no way to save memory in srec (.s37) format. Is there any tool offered by TI that i can use to go from COFF to srec format?

Also, does uniflash support srecord files that have multiple start address and unordered address?

Hi Ranjit,

The srecord conversion tool is in the compiler tools, you can find them here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Compiler_Releases

In the bin folder after installation, you will find a utility called hex2000.exe which is used to do the conversion.

If your goal is to verify what you have loaded, you can do that with the explicit verify program operation in UniFlash v2.1, you can find the installer here:

To verify, go to "Programs->Verify Program" from the main menu.

"hex2000.exe" did the trick.
