compiler version changes from CCS V5 to V3 using the code composer studio.

Previously we developed the one of our project using the Code Composer Essentials v3 .Now again we are planning to redesign the same project with some new features .But using the same workspace ( Code Composer Essentials v3) we import to the code composer studio V5 it shows the some error and warnings .But using Code Composer Essentials v3 it will not shows any error.

please suggest us how to change compilers from V5 to V3 .

Hi Pavani,

You can direct CCSv5 to use the compiler that is in your CCEv3 installation. See:

Note that standalone version of the MSP430 compiler are not available on the compiler download page. If you need a standalone version, please provide the exact version of the compiler you need and we can look into getting you that version. Otherwise you can use the compiler install that came with CCEv3.
