Codec Engine App with CCS 5.3 on DM8168

Dear experts,

I successfully built (using GenCodecPkg and GenServer) the codec and the server in order to run a Codec engine example on DM8168, but I have problem to use CCS to create the "App" that run on A8 side. Could someone please explain what type of CCS project I need to create?

I tried to create the template project "Codec Engine Universal example" available in CCS but it doesn't work...

My development environment is: CCS 5.3, ESDK_5_05_02_00

Is this a linux app that will run on a linux kernal running on the A8? If so, it may be a GCC project.

I would suggest also posting in the codecs forum. They will be more familiar with the codec engine example and what you need to do to get it running:
