ROV failed to start in CCSv5

Sangchul Oh

CCS = 5.1.0.09000

XDCTools = 3.22.4.46

BIOS 6 = 6.32.5.54

These are my versions of tools for 6678 multi-core DSP. The applications on core #0 and #1 is good working at ROV, but The applications on core #3 and #4 is not.

I can see the error message on CCSv5 as the followings;

Hi Sangchul,

did you follow the tips in the message? What do you see in Window->preferences->Code composer studio->RTSC->products?

My strong recommendation is to create a fresh installation of the latest version (do not update) which is v5.3.

I have fixed it by upgrading BIOS MCSDK to version 02_01_02_05. (bios_mcsdk_02_01_02_05_setupwin32.exe)

It seems RTSC/XDCtools are updated like the following;

RTSC/XDCtools (Target Runtime Support) 3.23.4.60 org.eclipse.rtsc.xdctools.product_3.23.4.60.feature.group Texas Instruments
