I'm trying to install the msp430WARE Image reformer utility but I'm encountering the error in the subject line. I have downloaded multiple times and checked the md5sum. All check out ok.

So I have no idea what could be causing this issue.

Hi Dylan,

can you please provide a few more details.

- what exact CCS version are you using and what is the installation history

- how did you try to add/update the MSPWare

CCS is not installed. The image reformer is a stand-alone tool.

I have managed to resolve this issue by installing the tool from the MSP430 graphics library page instead. This however is an older version of the image reformer.

Please check the uploaded version in the WARE page is not corrupted.

Hi Dylan,

thanks for the update and glad to hear you managed to find a work around.

Yes, unfortunately we have seen a couple known issues with updates/dependencies and the MSP430Ware. The msp group does have the feedback and things like dependency checks etc are items we are looking to add/improve.
