Migration from CCS 3.3 to CCS 5.5 , code generation tools and DSP BIOS

I am using code composer 3.3 , with code generations tools v6.0.18 and DSP BIOS 5.31.02 our application is running on TMS320DM642 DSP .

I would like to migrate to new 5.3 Code Composer studio, but I prefer to keep my current DSP BIOS and code generation tools

Can I use the Code Composer 5.3 with , with code generations tools v6.0.18 and DSP BIOS 5.31.02 ?

Somewhat. Though you would need at least BIOS 5.40 to get RTA support:
