Coverage tools with CCS 5

Hi,

I am looking to do coverage analysis. I need to have it running in the system and collect real-time coverage as opposed to supplying data files to simulate the operating environment.

Are there any suggested tools that integrate nicely with CCS?

I don't know of any tools that are built into CCS, but there are several commercial software houses that have Eclipse plug ins for code analysis.

Parasoft (I used them before in the days of CCSv4, and they were very easy to use): http://www.parasoft.com/development_testing/static_analysis_cpp.jsp

LDRA http://www.ldra.com/

If you are using a C66x device with the Pro Trace emulator and the upcoming CCSv5.4, you have an alternative to do Function profiling that help get some code coverage information (check the attached screen).
