TI XDS560 PCI emulator on CCS 5.1

I am in the process of moving our TCI6488 EVMs from CCS 3.3 to 5.1. This move has been successful for systems using the on-board UBS debugger and for the SD XDS560v2 USB connected EVM. But some ov our systems use the TI XDS560 POD PCI emulator and this does not appear in the connection list for Target Configuration. Does anyone know how to get this emulator to work wiht CCS 5.1?

Hi George,

a few comments/required further information here

- what OS do you use?

- did you select support for this emulator when installing? You can rerun the installer to the same directory and select repair to add support should this be the case.

- I would very strongly recommend a fresh clean installation of the latest release - v5.3

The TI XDS560 PCI emulator drivers are not installed by default in CCSv5. You can re-run the installer, point to the same installed directory and select the XDS560 on the emulator selection screen.

Hi Lisa,

The OS is Windows XP.

I did not do the original install on the PC in question. I will try running the installer again.

Just to update you; I ran the installer, as you suggested, and emulater is now working with CCS 5.1.
