Hi Bonzai,
would you be able to provide further details and verify you are creating a ccs project and not a generic one? Did you select C6000 support when installing CCS? If not you can run the installer to the same directory
Best Regards,
Lisa
Hi Bonzai,
this is odd and something I do not see on my system.
Could you possibly send a screen capture? Would you be able to check for permissions/antivirus issues?
Especially if this was a new, full v5.3 installation you should be fine.
Best Regards,
Lisa
Bonzai,
I think I know what may be happening in your case: there is an issue with the C66x package that shipped with the standard CCSv5.3. To fix that, open the updates (menu Help --> Check for Updates) and you will see a package named Keystone version 1.0.6.0.
I installed it in my CCS and the processors started to show correctly. Check the attached screen.
Hope this helps,
Rafael
Hi Rafael,
when I tried to updated the software, I got the following message and also see the attached:
An error occurred while collecting items to be installed
session context was:(profile=epp.package.cpp, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect, operand=, action=).
No repository found containing: org.eclipse.update.feature,com.ti.emulation.keystone1.win32,1.0.6.0
No repository found containing: binary,com.ti.emulation.keystone1.win32_root,1.0.6.0
Hi Bonzai,
I suspect my colleague Rafael is correct in that you need a newer keystone emulation package. The question now is how to bring that in for you.
Immediate next suggestions
- try again in case of a server glitch (our wiki for example was down temporarily earlier)
- if willing ... install the v5.4 beta into a fresh directory and use that
Please keep us informed.
Best Regards,
Lisa
Bonzai,
The feature you are looking for would be added by the keystone1 v1.0.6.0 update. Let's see if we can figure out why you are not able to install the update.
Can you tell me if you are able to access these four files:
http://software-dl.ti.com/sdoemb/sdoemb_public_sw/ti_emupack_keystone1/eclipse/artifacts.jar
http://software-dl.ti.com/sdoemb/sdoemb_public_sw/ti_emupack_keystone1/eclipse/content.jar
Hi Bonzai,
great, very happy to hear. Thanks for updating and all the best with development.
Best Regards,
Lisa
