Trace Analyzer and GDBserver?

Hi,

I've run into a question, I couldn't find an answer to.

We don't use any emulator to debug or programms running on our EVM816x, but we use the method with GDBserver dicriebed here.

So the question is:

Can we use the Trace Analyzer form CCSv5 in this circumtances or is it just possible to use it if we connect our board using an emulator via JTAG?

    Kristian,

    The trace analyzer features are limited to when you are capturing trace with a JTAG emulator.  The exception would be if you can get the trace data off the device yourself and then you can use trace analyzer to look at the data offline.
