Hello~

I know that TI have been made an effort for MCU and DSP developer to use same development tools.

So now many developers can easily change their chip according to their application without cost.(learning of tools,purchase new tools)

I also know that TI Jtag emulator & code composer studio support parallel debug configuration.

Can I use a single Jtag emulator & code composer sutdio to develop firmwares when two chips are on a board as below?

TI ARM(Sitara/ Cortex A/R/M) + DSP(C2000/C5000/C6000)

Yes. If you need information on how to physically connect the two devices on the same JTAG scan chain, see:

If you are asking how to configure with CCS for this, you will need to create a custom target configuration and manually add each device:

Thank you for your reply.

But I mean that there are two single device on a board not a package.

For an example AM3359 + TMS320F28335 which are connected by daisy chain.

I want to know that it is possible to develop two firmware for these devices by one JTAG header, one emulator, and one CCS.

TI ARM(Sitara/ Cortex A/R/M) + DSP(C2000/C5000/C6000) on a Board.

Yes, you can have two separate devices on a board and daisy chain them and use on JTAG header, one emulator and one CCS. All the links I provided in the previous post apply to this scenario also.
