My CCSv4 is not working properly now..Please help.Urgent..

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE

I was working with CCSv4 to build and debug an imported project. After the project got debugged, I pressed the “Enable silicon real-time mode” button and “Enable polite real-time mode” button, to edit and view variables in real-time. But without disabling these real time options I had resetted the CPU.

Then I tried to do the whole things once more, but I am not able to import the same project. When I am browsing the path there is appearing another folder which was not there before as :

CONTROLSUITE_HVMOTOR_ROOT.

What may be the reason..??

  • I am not sure what connection the debug steps (resetting CPU with real time mode enabled) would have to do with importing the project. If this project already exists in your workspace you don't have to import it again. Or are you trying to import it into a new workspace?

I'm not quite sure I understand, can you explain further? Where/how are you browsing the path and noticing this folder? Typically these are variables that point to a root folder within ControlSuite. If so, they should have been applicable during the previous import as well (if the import went fine without issues).

  • The project was not there in my workspace. I deleted the whole workspace and started doing it once more. I was trying to import the project from another location(Project present in Controlsuite). Athat time i browse the path to get the project. then I am able to see the root whish I said above. But when i followed the same path to find whether that root folder is there, for my surprise it was not there at all.

I am sorry but I still do not quite understand what you mean. Could you please show some screenshots that might help explain further?
Are you stuck because of this issue or is it simply a question you have to help understand things better?
