CGT TMS 470 tool setup

need setup %CG_TOOL_DIR%

I check ccsv5 software, TMS 470 is a component installed, but I cannot find those binaries?

 

Suppose in ccsv5/tools/compiler/tms470? I do not have this folder, following is the tool set I have from ccsv5/tools

 

arm_5.0.1  c2000_6.1.0  c5400_4.2.0  c5500_4.4.1  c6000_7.4.1  dmed  msp430_4.1.2

 

 

I have windows and Linux, both is same problem to me, and I cannot find binaries such as: cl470 ar470

    hello,

    "tms470" has been officially renamed to "arm". tms470 was the name for the old TI ARM7 based devices. But now TI has many ARM devices based for other ARM architectures (ARM9, Cortex A, Cortex R, Cortex M, etc) so using the TMS470 name for the ARM build tools that supported all ARM devices did not make sense anymore.

    So "arm_5.0.1" is probably what you are looking for.
