C24X Profiler

Hi, Im using CCSv3.3 on windows 7 and developing for a C2406 processor. I would like to know if I can profile the code using CCSv3.3?

If you can get CCSv3.3 to work with Windows 7 (this combination is not officially supported) then yes, you should be able to use both the profile clock and the CCS function profiler. Check the CCS Help than comes with CCSv3.3 for more information on both methods.

Hi thanks for your help. Im looking at the TMS320C2xx/C24x Code Composer Users Guide,(SPRU490) and in Chapter 11 , profiling code execution, it says 'profiling not available for C2xx ' . Does that refer to me, since Im using a TMS320CF2406 board? When i follow the instructions in the tutorial inside CCS, I find my activities list is empty in the profile-setup window.

Or do I need to change some settings?

Sorry, I'm afraid you might be right. 28x may have it but 24x may not. 24x is a very old device. I would be surprised if there is no profile clock support however.
