CCS 5 floating licence

I am trying to install a floating licence for code composer 5 on my machine. I have followed the instructions on http://processors.wiki.ti.com/

I have installed Imadmin and the unziped all other files into the same installation directory.

When I try to start the Vendor Daemon from FlexNet, it goes to "starting up" state and stays there. It never gets to the running state

Hi Mohammad,

would you be able to provide a few further details? Screenshots? Some things to double check/confirm:

- did you set up the flexnet server as a service and is it running

- did you use the GUI web interface

- what OS is on your server

Any further details would be great.

Hi Lisa

I have just got it to work. The problem was that when I re hosted the licence, I provided the wrong MAC address which ended up with the licence file having different MAC address to that of the PC. I generated a new licence file with the correct MAC and all working fine now.
