gmake[1]: *** [] Error -1073741790

Hi,

I'm trying to build an application for TCI6614 dsps. While the app is building, it gets aborted with the following gmake error. Next time when I run again, it compiles few more files and aborts again. Could somebody help me on how to fix this error?  I'm using the gmake.exe from "xdctools_3_23_03_53" .

gmake[1]: *** [] Error -1073741790

  • Shailender,

This sounds like a tools question that will be better answered in the Compiler Forum than in this KeyStone DSP Forum. A moderator will move this thread to the Compiler Forum for the best answers.

They will probably need more information from you since there is not enough information to determine what could be going wrong with your build process.

Why are you building your own custom flow for the build process? Have you tried building a Project within CCS and using its capabilities to build your application?

FYI, the TCIxxxx family of devices are not supported on the E2E forum. These devices are sold to a limited marketplace and their support is provide through other means, such as local TI offices and FAEs.

  • This error message is likely not the true problem.  The true problem probably occurred earlier.  Are there any other errors shown?  Are you building under CCS?

  • Thanks for the response. I have looked at it. There is no error. Also everytime I run the gmake, it goes further. If there is an error it should halt at the same location, but it doesn't. Processes few files and dies. After couple of runs my whole project built successfully. I'm using 64 bit windows7 machine for building my project. I'm not sure whether there is any issue with gmake on 64 bit host.

  • Are you running under CCS?
Could you show us the entire output of one of these failed gmake invocations?
