printf/fprintf not working

Hello,

I am working with a program for TMS320C5515 EVM in CCSv5.3. I would like to save some data in a buffer and then write it in a file. However, I realize that printf/fprintf is not working even If I put fflush(stdout) just after the printf.

I hope you can help me

Hi Albert,

can you explain what you mean by "not working"? Many printf issues are caused by either a mismatch in UART settings or else by the stack and heap size being set too low.

Hi,

not working means that it doesn't appear or only appear some part after increasing heap size.

However, I change the memory map and it already works.

Yes,

In fact I select another example of CCS existing project. I do not change the memories by handworking,

Hi,

I am having a similar problem.

I included the stdio.h library and increase the heap memory as one of the tutorials ask to do.

However, I can only use the puts function but not the printf. Printf function does't work at all.

any help?
