Installation problems!
I wish to experiment with the new TMC4C123 development boards. So need to install IDE to support the ARM processors. Have been working with CCSv4.2.400033 using various MSP430 CPUs. IDE has been working very well.
Computer OS is Windows 7 Home Premium, 64bit, Service Pack 1.
Using Microsoft's uninstallation tool, CCSv4.2.4.00033 was uninstalled. After installing CCSv4.2.5.00005, the code generation tools do not exists. The directory "~\CCSv4\Tools" is not created.
CCSv4.2.5.00005 was uninstalled and version CCSV4.2.4.00033 was reinstalled. Now version CCSv4.2.4.00033 no longer has the code generation tools. Whatever is wrong is now effecting both installations.
I understand there are many log files in the "C:\Program Files(x86)\InstallJammer Registry".
(1) In order to redo a clean install of CCSv4.2.5.00005, should the InstallJammer Registry directory be completely deleted?
(2) How to clean out all CCS files on my computer so that I may install CCSv4.2.5.00005?
