Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F28027, TMS320F28335

How to change 28027 into 28335? I have select 28335 device while newing the target config file.

  • When I press DEBUG,the console info is:

C28xx: Flash Programmer: Warning: The configured device (TMS320F28027), does not match the detected device (TMS320F28335). Flash Programming operations could be affected. Please consider modifying your target configuration file.

  • Hi Decai,

there are three main areas to watch when switching targets

    - your target configuration file (.ccxml)

    - your project settings (project ->properties->general)

    - you should also double check any header files or predefined items that you may have

Please keep us informed and I hope this helps.

    Best REgards,
    Lisa

  • .ccxml is F28335

    property ->general is also F28335

the demo code is from TI examples

    So, what's wrong happens?

  • HI Decai,

this is odd.  Can you verify your project points to the correct ccxml (target configuration) file?   Would you be able to send the project offline for us to look at?

    Best Regards,
    Lisa

  • Hi,lisa!

I have to clean and close all project and new a target configuration file again and again. sometimes it is ok, sometimes it is wrong. so have to import this example project from TI explore again and new target configuration again. then I have to check the project property->build and see the flash device type is what I set.

I don't know why it is ok or not.

Maybe I had tested a demo project based on 28027 before and some configuration is shared?

  • Hi Decai,

would you be able to send the project?  (offline is fine - my ID is a link you can use for a friend/conversation request.

Can you confirm the default ccxml/the one attached to the project is the correct one?

    Best Regards,
    Lisa
