CCSv 5.4.91 installation on Ubuntu 12.04 Fails

Hi all,

I am trying to install CCSv5.4.91 on Ubuntu 12.04 and I am getting the error message after some time during the installation:

Installer fail to install installer correctly. The two most common reasons for failure are:

1) Antivirus ...

2) Download is corrupted.

I tried two times after downloading a new file but both time I am getting this error message. I have attached the install log too.

Thanks,

Fahriz Aqeel Ansari

  • Hi,

Are you on the TI network when trying to do this? Is there anything unique about your proxy configuration?

The download is failing because the installer (well, more precisely Eclipse) is trying to use the SOCKS proxy and it's not understanding the reply. This isn't something we've seen before.
