CCS floating install problem

Hi, expert.

 

I've install CCS Floating server on windows 7.

And I got error. I attached error picture.

message is :

Unable to reread license files for vendor: tidspssw.

What do I need to check?

    Hi Jay,

    a couple things (with little information to go on here) that I can suggest as a start

    - I see a reference to program files ... this directory has odd windows permissions and we don't usually advise using it

    - did you follow the instructions here and do you have the vendor daemon and manifest file in the same directory as the flexnet server?

    Actually it is my customers problem and I haven't seen that kind of message.

    I will visit by next week to clear this issue and let you know.

    Hi Lisa.

     

    There are some mistaken as you told.

    1.  Vendor daemon and manifest file is not in the same directory as the flexnet server.

         - Actually tidspssw folder was there and i guess they unzip under the name of folder. ( C:program../flexnet.../tidspssw/ vendor daemon and manifest file.)

    2. Windows permissions also cause problem. - change the folder permission related to the flexnet folder.

    And it is working fine.
