C6713 doesn't connect to CCS v 5.2.0

Expert 2370 points

Hi,

I am trying to connect C6713 DSK with CCS version 5.2.0 but getting this kind of error.

TMS320C671X: Error connecting to the target: Error 0x80000200/-140 Fatal Error during: OCS,  Error generated by SD scan controller module

Any help with this ?

Thanks.

  • I have already tried setting in .ccxml file for CONNECTION as Spectrum Digital DSK EVM eZdsp onboard USB Emulator and BOARD as DSK6713, respectively.

  • Hi,

Is your PC Windows? If so, I can connect without trouble to my C6713 DSK Rev C here (check the attached picture).

Be sure that Windows properly recognized your DSK board (check Control Panel's Device Manager as shown in the attached picture). The device drivers are usually installed with CCSv5 unless you de-selected Spectrum Digital Emulator support during install - this does not seem to be your case given the options you mentioned in your last post.

You could also try to run the 6713DSKDiag.exe utility from Spectrum Digital's Target content download link - available at the board's support page. Not sure if this diagnostic utility works in a standalone fashion, though.

If it is Linux, this DSK is not supported in this operating system (check here)

    Regards,

    Rafael
