CCS5.3 update fails

Looking for compilers updates after I was requested to restart CCS the updates installation fails with a message that asks to upload to the CCS forum the C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallJammer Registry\ccsv5\60556FE5-C1A1-4061-8DF8-FFB8393BAE2D directory.

The error that I saw before the installation aborted was a web address unavailability.

    Hi Maurizio,

    what version are you trying this on?  You seem to have at least tried a few different v5 versions?

    Can you send a screen shot and details of the exact update you need?

    Hi, I am working with CCS5.3, on Win7 Enterprise.

    I can't open CCS any more, when I start it the update installation begins but stops in few seconds with " Unable to find a manifest file, download seems incomplete, cannot proceed" message.

    Should I disinstall CCS and install it again?

    Hi Maurizio,

    yes, I would definitely try a fresh installation.  Please let us know how that goes and note the follow:

    - I would recommend removing the old installation including log files and use a fresh simple directory like c:myccs
