i can't build a new ccs project at v5.4

Hi,

I'm new at code composer studio. my problem is when i click 'file>new>' i see only c++/c project, cant see the css project. And there is no css project option. where do i fail? Did i install it in wrong way? or Did i download the wrong version ? thanks for help.

I have windows 7 ultimate x64 OS. At installation; i did not select any additional options. I followed standart installation steps.

In addition, i cant find a getting started guide for ccsv5.4 . and o ne last question. could i uninstall this version and install an older version which may have getting started guide. thanks for attention.

Hi,

One thing I forgot to check. Are you making sure that you are starting the program with ccstudio.exe? V5 no longer uses eclipse.exe. I am also trying to verify a few things with colleagues here as well.

Hi,

Thank you for your support. I uninstalled v5.4 and installed v5.3. I think while i was installing v5.4, i misclicked on a wrong selection. The v5.3 worked very well. I appreciate you.
