Clearcase install problem in CCS 5.3

Dear support,

I have CCS ver 5.1.1 ans CCS ver 5.3.1 on my computer(windows7, 32bits).

All work properly with clearcase in CCS5.1 and doesn't work in CCS5.3.

I try to install Clearcase plugIn from http://www3.software.ibm.com/ibmdl/pub/software/rationalsdp/clearcase/60/update/windows/  and get the following errors in the end of installation:

An error occurred while collecting items to be installed

could you please help me with it?

  • Sabina,

I installed the plugin from the same location and did not get any errors with CCS 5.3.00090. I haven't actually done anything with it or tried using it, but the install itself completed without errors. I simply followed the steps on this page: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24025674.

Is it possible that your firewall or network connection is blocking things from getting downloaded? You may want to try one of the alternate installation mechanisms mentioned in that page if you haven't already.
