Trial license issue CCS 4.2.1

Hi,

I installed CCS 4.2.1 this morning.  I was having some trouble so I reinstalled from scratch.  Now when I try to run the program I get a dialog complaining that no license is found.  If I select "Evaluate Code Composer Studio for 30 Days", the dialog comes back after a second or two.

    Hi Jack,

    this is odd.   What type of license are you using? (ie do you use a free code size limited license or do you have a full license etc?)

    Is there a reason you don't move to a current release .. such as v5.4 or at the very least, the last v4 release ..4.2.5?

    Can you send screenshots?  I am wondering if something like antivirus or permissions problems might be preventing the license file from being generated/activated.

    Works with version 5.4, thanks.

    I was using the old version because that's what was delivered with the evaluation kit (TMDXDOCK28069).  The kit seal date is 3/2/13.  Maybe a more up-to-date version of the sw should go on the CD.
