CCS 5.4 RTOS analyzer greyed out

Hello,

I built a sys/bios c6747 application and I would like to look at CPU load etc. Unfortunately my RTOS analyzer is greyed out (but RTA part is not). I don't want to use RTA. Is there a way to fix this? In these forums people have suggest re-install. I would like to avoid reinstalling CCS.

Hello Fawad,

RTOS Analyzer is reliant on UIA instrumentation. If you did not enable support for UIA, you would not see the options for RTOS Analyzer. Are you using UIA?

No, I did not. I am currently going thru the UIA tutorials and I can see the RTOS analyzer settings are enabled. So my question is answered.
