Installing for all users



I install the CCS software in a lab environment which must be accessible from all domain user accounts (as they log in and their profiles are created). I'd like to know how I can configure the installer to install properly from the admin account for all users or modify the environment after the fact. Right now it appears that the program is dependent on and references the account which did the installation and this is not an ideal scenario. Any thoughts or guidance in finding documentation for this issue would be appreciated. Thanks.

    We have customers using CCS in the configuration you describe. There is some more information here regarding what files will be created outside the user's installation folder here. Most files created in the installing user's account are not critical to the operation of CCS. If specific functionality is needed, the required files can be copied over.

  • Everything seems to be working well now, thanks. It also seems like the latest installer didn't cause me as many problems in general.
