CCSv5 install problems: Download url does not exist.

I am trying to download CCSv5 and I keep running into the following error message:

Unable to access http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_ccstudio/CCSv5/CCS5.4.0.00091_win32. Check your settings and try again.

The ref_url: http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_ccstudio/CCSv5/CCS_5_4_0/ does not exist. Clicking on it gives me the "File not found" page.

I looked this up online and the recommendation was to try the full installer. I have also tried the full installer and I get the same error message. What am I doing wrong? I was hoping to install this software so I get a lot done over the 3-day weekend. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Nicholas,

so you have tried the full installer as well? Have you checked your proxy settings? Have you tried from the email link you should have recieved?

I tried the full installer. I also used the URL from the email I received. Does that page exist? Can you access it?

Hi Nicholas,

there is no problems with the link. I tried outside of the ti enviroment with no problem at all. I downloaded the v5.4 full windows installer and used the link directly to that version not the big "latest version" button. They are the same version anyhow. Perhaps you can try that?

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for checking up on this. I was able to successfully install CCS v5.0. I was logged into my work network while installing it and the network proxy setting wouldnt allow access to the url. Things are all good now. Thanks again!
