Problems in install CCS v5.4

Hi,

When I uninstalled CCS 5.3.0, it had difficulties ( An error dialog box popped up, something was wrong etc.). I had to uninstall each component one by one. In the end, I forced to delete all the folders under c:\ti. I install CCS v5.4. Then, I install MCSDK. When I run CCS v5.4, it detects the new MCSDK components, but with errors. It seems the register is messy up. How can I do to make it work?

  • Sorry, I forget to add that the system is Windows 7, 64 bit.

  • Hello, I have the same issue when I try to install bios_mcsdk_02_01_02_06

    CCS version is ccs_5.4.0.00091.

OS is Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64 bit

  • I too have install issues with ccs v5.4.00091.exe on my Windows 7 machine . Here is the script error message:

  • Hi Everyone,

the best thing would be to post your installation/update logs.  These are in the installjammer registry directory ( a likely hidden folder in program files or program files(x86)).

    Some tips

    - try to run all locally (ie no use of servers/junctions/mapped drives).   Although the installer is improving its handiing of these situations, I would not recommend them

    - make sure antivirus is off and you have full permissions

    Best Regards,
    Lisa
