Error importing v4 archive into v5

I have a working project using CCS v 4.2.4.00033. We are starting a new project and we are switching from the 5515 to the 6748 so I setup a new computer and installed CCSv5.4..0.00091. When I try to import the v4 archive I get an error "Import failed for project 'evm5515 Demo' because its meta-data cannot be interpreted, Please contact support". I have attached the archive.

Hi Robert,

I was able to import your project without problems. I did project->import existing ccs/eclipse project. Is this how you imported? The only thing I see with your migration is you seem to still tcf files from old bios versions likely. These need to be migrated to .cfg files but do not affect project import.

Lisa,

I was using File->Import. I tried Project->Import Existing CCS Eclipse Project but I get the same error. Do the libraries need to be installed before importing?

Hi Robert,

did you try that in a fresh workspace? You don't need to import anything else before. All I did was unzip your file, open ccs, project->import existing ccs/eclipse project and browse to the directory with your project .... note I did not use the archive option below the normal option.

It imported fine....

Turns out I was logged in as a user and not as admin. Logged in as admin and it imported.
