re-hosting a CCS v5 floating license

I've changed the server on which I need to host the floating license we have for CCS v5 and need to regenerate/re-host it.

When I go to the MyRegisteredSoftware page and enter my activation ID, I'm told that it's already activated.

What's the process for generating a new license with the appropriate MAC/Hostname info?

Thanks in advance.

  • Tony,

When you go to MyRegisteredSoftware there should be 2 tabs at the top.  One to activate software and one to manage software.  The manage tab will list all the software packages you have activated.  You should see an entry for your floating license in the table.  Click the manage button beside it and then you should see a link to re-host the license.  If you have already rehosted the license before then that link will disappear and you will need to contact ccs_license_file_help@list.ti.com to rehost it again.

    Regards,

    John
