Developing on CCSv5 with EZSDK

Hi,

I want to start developing on CCSv5 with EZSDK.

Looking at "http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/EZ_SDK_FAQ#EZSDK_and_CCS_questions" I found the following: "The components to be copied to the CCS installation are Code generation Tools, BIOS, IPC, XDAIS and XDCTools. SysLink (New version of DSPLink), Codec Engine, Framework components, C6accel and DSP libraries can be installed in the user folder to start development"

My questions:

1. What does it mean to "copy components to CCS installation"?

2. How do I install the EZ SDK components (BIOS, IPC, SysLink, Codec Engine) into CCS v5?

Thanks,

Gilad

  • Hi Gilad,

    in ccs there are a couple places you can check/add such packages you have separately downloaded or have on your pc from a previous installation (for example)

    For BIOS, XDC, etc

    Window->Preferences->Code Composer Studio->RTSC->Products

    For compilers

    Window->Preferences->Code Composer Studio->Build->Compilers

    Hope this helps.  Please keep us informed.

    Best Regards,

    Lisa
