CCStudio will not work

I had the latest CCS installed on my machine yesterday (Fri. June 14, 2013) and was trying to write my first program to blink the red and green LEDs on the LaunchPad with a G2553 part.  I was NOT able to get the program to work and when my son came in from work just after midnight he spent a couple of hours working with me to try to

get the program to work.  We finally gave up....

This morning my son said the computer had a virus and he ran a program to locate and fix it.  NOW, CCS does NOT work and I cannot get a new copy downloaded.  The G2553 looks like a really powerful device but is it impossible to use the TI software to program it?

    Hi Don,

    there is some known issues with antivirus interference but as long as antivirus is enabled when installing, you should be ok.

    Can you please provide a bit of detail?   what do you mean "ccs does not work" and that you can not download ccs?

    i would download and try again in a clean directory with antivirus off.    Please keep us informed and send any install logs (should this not correct things).   The logs are in the installjammer registry folder which may be hidden and is under program files or program files(x86).
