Is there a complex.h float library for the c55?

I have a floating point application that I have ported to the c674x. We want to next port the same algorithm to the c5505.

As a first step I want to run the floating point algorithm on the c55 with as little changes as possible.

I would then port the slowest portions to fixed point.

However, I could not find a complex floating point library for the c55.

Does this exist?

Hi Bryan,

Complex is a part of the standard libraries so it is included in \tools\compiler\c5500_x.x.x\include\.

Somehow I missed that. However, that is the c++ version <complex> and my legacy code use the C version <complex.h>. Unless I have my configuration wrong <complex> is giving me errors. Here is my syntax:

typedef struct {

complex float* myVar;

} myStruct_t;

I get this error : error #78-D: this declaration has no storage class or type specifier

I also checked the configuration item that makes all my c file look like c++.

I tried changing the code to:

typedef struct {

complex<float> * myVar;

} myStruct_t;

No I get: error #918: complex is not a template

I think I may have found my problem - i need to put:

using namespace std;

after my includes. Now I have a lot fewer error with my legacy code.

I'm sorry, supporting C99-style complex types would require built-in compiler support, and the C55x compiler does not support them.
