Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430WARE

Hello all! New to forum as well as TI's MSP430x platform. I have some experience with Arduino's wiring language, but the simple examples i found within CCS (blink the LED and Hello World) look pretty foreign to me. My C programming skills feel woefully inadequate to switch a project over from an Atmel chip to an MSP430xxx. I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of beginners guide or some examples to work through.

Hi Sean,

welcome to the world of CCS!

To get started there are a few places you can go. There are built in examples as you found. There are also some in the resource explorer (Help->Welcome to CCS ... you would want the MSP430Ware examples)

There are also some great wikis and training material available
