CCS 5.4.0 doesn't start on debian wheezy x64

Dood day.

I successfully installed CCS v.5.4.0 on my Wheezy x64 host, but CCS doesn't start. Initial CCS splash appears on the desktop on starting and that's all. No progress bar at the bottom of this splash like in the windows version. Please help me to launch CCS on my Linux machine.

as a first step would you please

- expand on which point ccs "freezes". Is this loading a workspace or do to get to select a workspace and this is the loading after and/or the resource explorer?

Normally this type of issue is caused by a missing dependency or a proxy/permission/antivirus problem. Have you been through these instructions? Unfortunately we are not able to test every Linux distribution due to the sheer number of them but will certainly do our best to get you up and running.

Hi Lisa,

Sorry for long silence, I was on vacation. CCS works now. I don't know why it started but I think it began to work after adding write permissions to the installation directory.

Anyway now it works fine. Thank you very much.
