[C2000] Looking for the CGT tool V3.07

Dear Champs,

Our customer have used CCS2.2 with CGT v3.07. However they are changing the OS from XP to Win7 now. Their product is UPS and solar inverter

We recommend them to use CCS5 but they want to have the same CGT version with original environment in order to make sure all the result will not be changed.

However , the oldest version i can get is CGT v3.08 in the website.

Can anyone share the CGT v3.07 for me ?????

Hi George,

Thank for your support.

May i know how i to add the tool chain into CCS5 because the installation will keep stopping.

I saw the CGT version4 or new ones have the install.txt file.

Do we need to add it and the registration entry???

While you can probably get all this to work, please keep these points in mind. You are combining a very old compiler with a recent version of CCS. This particular combination has never been tested. It is not surprising that you have run into issues.

Hi George,

I had tried but it didn't work as well.

However , this customer is a UPS / solar manufucture. The life cycle of their project will be 10 years more.

Their old model use CCS2.2 with V3.0.7 to maintain. CCS2.2 are not support by Win7 so that we push their to change to CCS5

but they want to keep the tool version not to be change. Is there any other method to install the oldest tool version in the new CCS snice the Version 3 and Version 4 had some different.
